High Plains Drifter or Josey Wales

Of the two 1970's westerns directed/starring Clint Eastwood, which is your favorite?

I choose High Plains Drifter because the story was more exciting and focused. I loved the music and film techniques from the camera angels, locations, choreography of the action scenes and editing.

Josey Wales is good, too, but the story wanders sometimes.

There are people who like NEW JACK CITY over THE GODFATHER as a gangster movie.
So to each his own.

The Outlaw Josey Wales. I liked that it wandered and had more characters and locations shown.

The Outlaw Josey Wales hands down. Sondre Locke's dreadful acting is really the only thing not to like about it. Why couldn't he have been dating a talented actress instead?

High Plains Drifter. Better story, and the whole ghost thing is fun to analyze.

I like it better for the same reasons.
