Why is this board suddenly filled with comments in 2012?
For years the movie had only a few topics here. Now all of a sudden there's a surge of topics dating from 2012. What's up? Did someone famous mention the movie somewhere or something?
shareYeah, nobody comments here on this movie for like 30 years, then suddenly in the last 15 years everybody is posting about it. What gives?
shareI'm going out on a limb here, but just maybe it has something to do with the fact that it's available streaming on Netflix now and people are getting access to it for the first time in years. I know that sounds crazy, though. It's probably something much simpler like a whole bunch of people had a random desire to see a 40 year old movie all within a few months of each other and hunted down copies in the last remaining movie rental places on the planet. Yeah, that's more like it. Couldn't be that it's currently having its widest distribution since its initial release. No. Definitely not.
Sigh.
