Will Smith to remake. Good choice?
Not sure he would fit the role myself. Who would you choose?

Ashton Kutcher did a fine job with Butterfly Effect, so maybe he would be able to pull off this nice piece of suspense.

Will Smith isn't a bad actor, but no-- I couldn't see him acting in a remake of this.
Wait a minute. Back up. Where is it said that this is going to be remade in the first place? I've heard rumors about various movies being remade for a long time & I honestly don't think ANY of them have seen the light of day (FYI: I've heard of remakes of M*A*S*H*, The Lost Boys, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, among others.) Why would this film be any different?
shareWill Smith, *beep* You've asked a rhetorical question. There'll never be a remake of the Eastwood movie.

I agree some parts will have to be redone for the times but however that's not why I want it remade. It's becaus this is classic and not to mention at the time this was original but now it's been done a lot of times.
Just got secretly engaged to the best guy ever!!

the only one who can fill eastwood shoes is bogart and that's a little hard thing to accomplish
am not an old timer i am 23 but i love classics cause they are pure art
Hell no.
Y'know, I could eat a peach for hours
I hope this is never remade. At least not in my lifetime.

Please tell me you're kidding. You can be in the movies all you want but it doesn't mean you're a movie star. He needs to give it up.
shareHow about Meryl Streep?. Some people think she can play anything.
