Times where you felt Edith was in the wrong

For me, two instances come to mind. In the last episode, when she found out she had phlebitis, she doesn't tell Archie, and while I get she thought she was doing the right thing, it was still wrong.

In the one where she accepts the invitation to go to the Jeffersons' house for dinner without talking to Archie about it first, and then Mike and Gloria tell Edith to make him go with her instead of to the baseball game he planned to go to.

Any others?

In the real world, Edith would divorced Archie for the way he spoke to her and this is coming from someone who grew up watching this show

Agree with the OP about those two times. But Edith was always motivated to do the right thing. Edith always tried to do the right thing though. She thought she was helping Archie. In the second instance, she did not want to insult Louise by refusing her invitation.

But it was wrong to spring it on Archie!

Sometimes she overdid the nice thing, like trying to deliberately lose at playing cards. Edith thought it would cheer up Archie if he won. But it only hurt his pride.
