The Seven Ups, French Connection, Bullit, To Live and Die in LA...
Others?
I prefer The Seven Ups but TLADILA is a close second

The Seven Ups.
I saw it (and Bullitt too) first run in the theatre and this one was a true thrill.
It was really super thrilling agreed!
I LOVE a good car chase...
They filmed a few sequences of the big chase not far from where i used to live.
Southern NY State has been a hotbed of film projects for most of my life...
Good locations, diverse neighborhoods, nice architecture...Its really cool watching the crews set up and seeing the occasional star
I saw Kevin Bacon up close one time...he was a really nice man
This one.
shareBullit..?
Yes it was a real
blast of a chase
Movie 'goofs' being one of my things, i believe that Mustang lost at least 10 hubcaps during the big chase
I still love The Seven Ups chase too
I came to to the conclusion that one of those hubcaps came off of the spare tire from underneath the Dodge Charger (the Mustang didn't have any hubcaps).
They did pass that green Volkswagen Beetle about 3 times though, unless it was 3 Volkswagens that happened to be identical.
LOL!
Yup...sometimes i just shut up and watch, but sometimes i notice dumb stuff
You just named my top 4 in one go! Amazing!
Check out a film called Fear is the Key (1972), it has an amazing long, drawn out car chase at the start from memory.
