I'm a little surprised that she was able to stand up straight and walk around. Seems like she'd always be toppling over. Perhaps she had really big feet.

share I liked the actress who played her, but Marla McGivers was totally unprofessional and needed a good court martialing! She was so unbelievbly disloyal to her Captain and ship. How did she ever qualify for Starfleet when she was such a weak willed ninny who abandoned her duties in favor of hormones? lol
Well if she was court-martialed she would've been alive in a Federation prison somewhere instead of dying on that planet. But maybe she did get what she deserved.
This has been discussed at length on the old IMDb board but I will say "Space Seed" would be a poor episode if Montalban did not appear on it as Khan. He makes you overlook many of the short comings. What McGivers deserved was extensive time in a penal colony. She is the kind of officer that needs to be made an example of. To let others who might let their hormones lead them astray know that there are big consequences to it.
