Favorite Monkees song?

What's your favorite Monkees song? I have to go with "Papa Gene's Blues" followed by "Look Out (Here Comes Tomorrow)", "Randy Scouse Git" & "For Pete's Sake".

Last Train to Clarksville, Steppin' Stone, Gonna Buy Me a Dog, Daydream Believer, I'm a Believer, You Just May Be the One, Your Auntie Griselda, She, Listen to the Band, Looking For the Good Times, I Don't Think You Know Me, Forget That Girl, I'll Spend My Life With You, Mommy & Daddy......but just about all of them are great, really. I saw them live last month at my hotel in Atlantic City. When we arrived and started looking at the billboards of entertainers coming to the city and rest of the state, we spotted a sign for the Monkees in Newark the following night and were all, "Auuurrrgh! Why couldn't they be here?" Then once we were in our room and I read the entertainment available for that night, I said, "WHOA! The website LIED! It's not James Blunt and Wayne Brady! Guess who's here tonight?!" The "We're going" decision was instantaneous.
Boy, I hope ME-TV adds their show soon.

"My Little Throny! I used to wonder what bloodshed could be..."

Here are my favorite songs by each Monkee.

Micky - "Goin Down' - The Monkees wrote this one. It sounds very different from most of their songs. My grandfather hated it. He preferred classical music. I heard this song was on the TV show "Breaking Bad".

Davy - "Daydream Believer" - Davy's singing and dancing on this song were awesome. Axl Rose stole his moves from Davy.

Mike - "What Am I Doing Hangin' 'Round?" - I wish Mike sang more Monkees songs. This one was written by his friend Michael Martin Murphey. He is best known for the number one hit "Wildfire".

Peter - "Your Auntie Grizelda" - It is a catchy tune and underrated. I think some people don't care for Peter's vocals.

"Star Collector" is such a catchy, witty, timeless song by Carole King and Gerry Goffin. I would love to see a cover on an album by a current pop idol, like Justin Beiber.

I only looked on pages 1 and 4, many great songs and Lists.

I did not see one of my most favorites: "Shades of Gray" w/Peter and Mickey.

That was pretty "deep philosophy" for a 13-14 yr old; and I remember being touched when Peter's voice cracked with emotion when singing the bridge. ("I remember when the answer seemed so clear...").
That's something they would "fix" nowadays, ruining the emotional feel.

It was the song that I first thought of before reading the lists of others' favorites and was reminded how many really great songs they had recorded!

Time to add some Monkee's albums to the armful I pulled out and haven't played.
Time to get some music back in my life!!

If we hit that bull's-eye then the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards...Checkmate.

In no order,

For Pete's Sake
Listen to the Band
Daily Nightly (and Mickey's adding the Moog synth to what was already a great 60s song was incredible)
Mary Mary
Salesman
The Door into Summer
Sweet Young Thing
You Just May Be The One
A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You
Zor and Zam (both versions)
Circle Sky (I've heard 3 cuts, I forgot which album had the best version - all are similar, just some nuances made one stand out better - the one where Mike doesn't go "Woo" at the start...)
