I still love this show

I grew up watching reruns every weekday in the 70s.

I bought the DVDs when they came out and still pop them in occasionally.

So much fun to watch.

I’ve also met Adam West (several times before his sad passing), Yvonne Craig, Frank Gorshin and Julie Newmar and gotten their autographs. All fantastic people.

Hoping to meet Burt Ward at some point.

It was the Batman show of my childhood. Although there are other iterations I prefer now, I'll always have a love for this (I also own the box set). It's what first got me into DC comics. I'm extremely envious that you met Adam West, Yvonne Craig, Frank Gorshin and Julie Newmar!

The rewatch factor is surprisingly good. The performances are just so charming you never get tired of it.

It's a wonderful show. There's something very charming about silly humour, especially done well.

This show is a joy to watch.

Hoping to meet Dick Ward at some point.

Set your sights lower! I'd shoot for either Burt Ward or Dick Grayson.

Good point. 😄

I assumed you meant Dick Wad!

Bruce called him that off-camera...

I’ve still got my Jan and Dean Meet Batman vinyl from 1967! Apparently I was a huge 5 year old fan who didn’t get the tongue in cheek-ness. Pics of me driving my plastic Batmobile prove it lol

Anyone who’s a fan should have it, great songs plus some comedy bits about the ineffective crime fighting duo Captain Jan and Dean the Boy Blunder….besides a fantastic version of the theme song the other ones will be ones you’ve never heard but they hold up well. One called Flight of the Batmobile has a Beach Boys Barbara Ann vibe..

Hard to shop for a vinyl copy but Apple’s iTunes Store has the entire album for 8 bucks
