A very HOT Jane Fonda

I knew Jane Fonda was "rather" attractive in her day, but having only just seen this film for the first time, I was blown away by how unbelievably sexy she was in this role.

Just a thought

I agree after rewatching my taping of it the other day and being joltedly reminded of it. Jane was never lovelier, sexier or more appealing than in this movie, certainly more so than in that stupid Barbarella, in which she barely (NPI)kept her dignity. This was before Hanoi Jane, so let's give her a break. (Even there she was right about U.S. involvement in Vietnam, if wrong about siding with the Communists).

i think she looks best in this movie. she's absolutely gorgeous. haha and this happens to be the best movie i've seen made in the 60's.

sure, she was hot, still is... but its hard not to picture her sitting on an anti-aircraft cannon... that takes her from a solid 10 right down to a 1, in my book...

Well said. I'll always think of her as a communist. If you listen to some of her recent remarks, it's obvious she isn't very bright either.

reply

wow, still in the 50's

not my book

Back in the day she was fine.

reply

She was just as cute in Barbarella.

I was blown away by her looks, too. The first movie I saw her in was "On Golden Pond", and though she was very attractive in that, it was nothing compared to this. She was almost too much in the scene wherein she seduced Mr. Old-Guy!

I fell in love with her after watching this movie. Definitely hot.

I am NOT a great fan of Jane Fonda -- politically speaking -- but she rocked in this movie. She was sympathetic, dramatic, funny, vulnerable, devious, etc.

And yes, she was sexy.

reply

I agree, she was hot.

reply

Yes, the only thing is she resembles her father so much. Which makes the hotness kind of creepy...
