Did the show teach you anything?

Many years ago as a child I learned from the Professor that salicylic acid is aspirin, and I've never forgotten it.

reply

Batteries last forever.

reply

Nope, even Professor said "batteries can loose power just sitting their"

reply

I learned the word succrowned (the ship succrowned on the shore of this uncharted desert isle).
But I can't even find it in google search.

reply

It's supposed to be, "the ship's aground."

Sometimes even the captions get it wrong, though, and render it as, "the ship set ground..."

reply

No, it IS “the ship set ground on the shore…”

Think about it, in the story-telling context of the theme song “set ground” makes perfect send over “aground”. Aground would make sense in a different context.

I learned that the hottest girl isn't always the one with the biggest b(oYo)bs.

reply

Yes, if you're ever on a boat on a cruise and you get in a storm, find the dumbest guy on board and toss his ass over.

reply

I learned that a man can be smart enough to make a radio from coconuts and yet if he is determined enough he will never build a boat.

That movie stars take three hour boat rides with 5 years worth of change of clothes.
