I always found it strange that she (and her mother and other witches)


had all this "power" and they only thing they used it for - for the most part - was to play practical jokes. Never used it for anything "good" or for anything positive. Darren did not want her to use her power. But, not even to save a child with cancer? Find a cure for a horrible disease?

If I were married to a witch, I would want her to use her power on everything, as long as nobody got hurt. That, and the incredible sex.

But, it's just a silly sitcom, one of the silliest ever, so expectations of stuff like realism and moral gravity must remain pretty low.

I never understood Derwood either. I would be happy to let her use her magic as much as she wanted and live like a King instead of going into the office everyday.

Given that history is filled with the idea of "witches" being persecuted you could forgive the witches for not wanting to help humans.
