Admit it. We all did it.
At some point in our lives, we have called this title "To Kill A Mockingjay" and then felt really stupid about it. Please don't tell me I'm the only one

shareErrr...no, sorry. I could plead truly guilty of many things, but not that particular offense.
shareHow old are you that the correct book/film title isn't so firmly cemented in your brain that this mistake would even be possible?
shareAfraid not. This is one of my favorite movies, and books, and I haven't seen any of the Hunger Games movies 😍
How sad, that you were not born in my time, nor I, in yours.

I saw this movie just today, and no, I wont or cant recalling ever having made that mistake!
That's a FAKE Laugh....

Never. I first read this book 30 years ago, and have no reason to ever replace the word Mockingbird with Mockingjay and have no idea why I ever would
shareOK, I agree with most posters that "To Kill a Mockingjay" never crossed my mind/lips.
But I teach this novel, and the title mistake I hear most often from my students is
"How to Kill a Mockingbird."
Who's willing to admit to that one?

Indeed, many booksellers will vouch for the on-going popularity of HOW TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD.
In my case, self-absorption is completely justified.
