I get it that she is sexy and plays the innocence perfectly. Her curves are nice, but in this film, particularly when she is singing on the train, I was not attracted at all to her pot belly! Maybe it was just the dress but it looked bad.

She is heavily pregnant. And, almost always had a bit of a tummy anyway.

I never realized MM was pregnant in SLIH. But I always thought she positively glowed, and looked absolutely exquisite. How anyone can be critical of her weight, when the way she looked in those dresses would make anyone stop and stare, is beyond me.

I like Marilyn Monroe and love Some Like It Hot, I've just never found her remotely attractive - not that that detracts from her one jot.

To each their own. But I believe she was beautiful in this. However, I tend to like thicker/curvaceous women.
