Creepiest character?

Who is the creepiest character on The Twilight Zone? I would put the night nurse in "Twenty-two" in the top ten. (Her other job is stewardess/flight attendant.)

Jana Loren's parents in "The Lateness Of The Hour."

Little Anthony Fremont.

It's good that you said that!

GACGCHCHKKKK!!!

reply

But how can you mean it?
Why, Anthony is just the sweetest thing that we've ever seen!

reply

I don't know. Any little boy that doesn't like Perry Como records is a bit off to me.

I think Dan Hollis is my single favorite Twilight Zone character. He might have died a gruesome death but at least he stood up to that little fucker.

reply

I don’t know if this qualifies as creepy but if I had been getting calls from the person in Night Call, I would have been scared to death!

Lots of creepy guys. How about Burgess Merideth's character Mr. Smith in Printer's Devil?

reply

The fat-headed alien that convinces everyone he's a good guy in "To Serve Man"

reply

Yes! He's the character I find the creepiest too. I've seen this episode at least 10 times but the first time I saw it, even though I had no idea what his motives could be, I knew that huge, creepy alien couldn't be trusted!

Talking Tina

I had a Chatty Cathy doll when I was little. I guess Talky Tina was a reference to that toy.

If my doll had said, “ I’m going to kill you”, wow, she’d be out the door in the trash can!

Not a lot of creepy characters, since many are based in reality, while others are characters based in Sci-fi type episodes. If I had to pick, it's the girl in "Come Wander with Me." That's because we know she's a ghost. Perhaps "After Hours," and the talking mannequins.

reply

The creepiest character to me was the alien in To Serve Man. However, the creepiest episode is, as a whole, the one with the talking mannequins. The whole atmosphere is very frightening.
