Pig face episode
a better ending would have been for her to feel out of place and have surgery to look like a pig. showing that conformity trumps objective beauty. instead of her going away to live with the people.

shareI think that was what happened. They tried all different ways to make her look like she "should have", and all of them were unsuccessful. For whatever reason, that sometimes happens in their world. All of the people she went to live with had the same thing happen.
shareThe funny thing is that we really are marching towards this strange ideal that botoxing your face to the point of it looking like a Baboon's ass is considered "attractive" nowadays.
I certainly don't find it attractive but when you are around circles of not just older adults but even young adult women in their 20s a lot of them start botoxing to feel better about themselves because everyone whose opinion they value look like that, thus the consensus is that it's an attractive look.
I don't think a time will ever exist when this episode isn't relevant.

Pig face episode is a good one, although not as good as the cowboy in 1960 ep, or the overheat ep. Not to mention: my favorite TZ of all time, the fortune telling machine episode with captain Kirk.
Oh, and the Dennis Hopper ep.
Didnt Seinfeld have a pig face episode? In the hospital?
shareSNL did a skit in the late 90s based on this episode with Norm McDonald as Serling and Pamela Anderson as Donna Douglas’s character.
