Is Not Paul Newman good looking in this film?

He looks lika a greek god in this film!
All the best people have bad chest and bone diseases. It's all frightfully romantic!
Love Him & Liz in this film but don't forget when this was made he'd just married Joanne and they'd just lost an unborn baby on their honeymoon so his eyes didn't sparkle as brightly as they would've otherwise cause he was heartbroken over that
"why are you married to him then if you can't work with him how do you live with him?"
I was born in the Fifties and was a teen in the Sixties. Trust me: We thought Paul Newman was handsome, gorgeous, stunning, etc. No, "Elvis-style" was not liked more than Paul Newman. Elvis was a joke in movies after the first few. People automatically went to each new movie, whether Elvis or Paul. But, there were so many other heartthrobs, so many remarkable-looking males. I'd place Elvis well down on the list. Definitely, Newman was considered better-looking!
I recall the pictures we had on the walls and that were in the movie and teen magazines: Newman, Robert Redford, Tony Curtis, James Dean, Sal Mineo, Ricky Nelson, Steve McQueen, Tab Hunter, Troy Donahue, etc. Actually, Elvis wasn't that prominently displayed; he had to share room in print with so many others. The Sixties brought a flood of those heartthrobs in films, on TV and in music, but Paul Newman retained his admirers.

He is unbelievably attractive in this movie
'What? I cook!'
'Offering people gum, is not cooking.'
Oh yes. For the longest time I thought that no one in Hollywood could be more attractive than Cary Grant, and while Mr. Grant is still rather delectable, I think Paul may have knocked him out of first place. His eyes alone are enough to make even the most sensible girls lose their heads.
shareSomeone a few posts up stated that this is one of the few films where Paul looks really young and I agree. From the mid sixties onward he always looked... his age and made it look damn good well into his fifties. I've always considered it to be very cool for someone to let his hair go gray when it decides to like paul did before he even turned fifty. He never resorted to hair dye or facelifts to look good because he didn't need to look young to do so. His wrinkles only accentuated and enchanced his handsome features and his gray hair gave him a world wise air. My only complaint about this god-like guy is that he always kept his chiseled chest hairless because I've always considered hairy chests to be iirresistibly rugged!
I'm here, Mr. Man, I can not tell no lie and I'll be right here 'till the day I die
for the record, you've got bad grammar dude.
anyways, Paul Newman was way sexier than Elvis, even in Elvis' younger days he could not measure up to Paul's gorgeous blue eyes & other assets.
man, Paul Newman is one of the greatest looking men i've ever seen, if not the greatest, & he's one of my favourite actors of all time & extremely sexy & i was very jealous of Liz Taylor when i was watching this.
