And I, literally mean OF ALL TIME. It doesn’t get any better than this.

O’ course, a suggestive double-entendre show name like Peter Gunn don’t hurt.

I cannot even possibly convey how long I have been searching for this theme, and the utter relief I'm feeling right now. It's been stuck in my head, since I was 8 years old in the 1980's. Coming and going as the years and decades go by.

And out of the blue, watching Waterworld, the theme played when the smokers drove the car. I was speechless for a good few minutes, just out of pure astonishment that I finally found the theme after so long.

Just because of this theme music, I will watch this show. It's quite an intriguing plot. Sounds really interesting.

The Peter Gunn theme is a classic. Duane Eddy sadly passed in April.

The first version of this song I knew was The Art of Noise version also featuring Duane Eddy. I was watching the video on MTV while my dad walked by and he told me it was from a TV show. It wasn’t until about 15 years ago that I first saw the show on MeTV.
