12 angry (white) men and no women
Were there no women allowed in jury's in the '50s? And no blacks or other minorities?
That's like asking for a biased judicial system.

If we were to check the statistics of the African-American Population % in 1950, it was just 10%. Even last year it was still below 15%.
Therefore I don't find it surrealistic that there would be just 12 white men. There could be circumstances in other cases there would be 2 or more African-Americans.
Of course it was biased. Blacks still had little rights in the 50's and like a good deal of men today, they felt women belonged in the kitchen because you know, having a head on your shoulders and another in your pants makes you superior.

Your post is the very definition of racism.
It should be against the law to use 'LOL'; unless you really did LOL!

The judicial system has always been like that and it still is in many places today (see that "impartial" all white jury that just convicted that white cop of raping those women in Oklahoma. The town is 40% black and the jury should've reflected that). In many places, the juries were exclusively made up of white males. Minorities and women were and are thought of as not being able to render a fair verdict or unable to detach from their emotions (lol) Back when this movie was made it was just because white males ran everything and imposed restrictions on everyone else. Nothing personal but I would've never done anything to run afoul of the system. Not even a fking parking violation. I'd never want one of those "impartial" all male juries putting me in prison for life or anything.
I saw a black juror in a Bogart movie once (Knock On Any Door from 1949). I about fell off my chair until I realized the movie took place in Chicago and black jurors and black cops were a regular occurrence in the Northern cities. And, and, and, they even arrested the whites! GASP!

The 90's TV remake fixed that. Partially.
shareWoman should be in the kitchen making lunch, they have not bussinees in a court of law discusing things they wouldn't understand like the innocence or guilt of a person
