Liked the new hair?

Didn't see any topics on this. I myself found her haircut to be a huge improvement over her princess style. I might even go as far as to say it is the perfect Audrey Hepburn hairdo. Arguments? :)

I wasn't sure, at first, that I liked it, until she smiled. That radiant face became as buoyant as the hair, and suddenly looked utterly enchanting. I felt it was somewhat symbolic for her, not only to shed the ultra-royal, ultra-proper style that she always wore (as did most women, with their hair always in an updo, except for when they went to bed at night when they wore it loose or braided it). Plus, the sudden removal of all that weight of her hair made her feel lighter and perkier. If you think about how much her teensy neck has been supporting, from hair pieces, crowns, hats, earrings, and long, heavy hair, it must have felt unbelievably refreshing to her. And she looked adorable -- same type as Dorothy Hamill with her fresh face and wedge hairdo that looked so light and responsive to her movements on the ice.

Life is a banquet, and most poor suckers are starving to death!

I think it's a bold choice and imo you need to have a certain face to pull it off and Audrey definitely did. I did think that hairstyle suited her more than the princess one. It showed off her facial features more and that's a good thing in her case. Same thing in Sabrina where she gets rid of that terrible ponytail style and cuts it short.. I thought she looked way more beautiful and sophisticated with the shorter style..which I guess was also the point to make her look less childish.

I personally liked the longer hair better. I just prefer it on women generally. Audrey Hepburn could have virtually any haircut and still be beautiful, though, so it doesn't really matter.

I really liked the short cut on her. Both times I've been to Italy it's been on business and I have my long-ish hair cut quite short to look more professional and make less work for myself, and I always think of Princess Ann while the scissors are flying.
