Whose sexier Grace or Ava?

I'm going with Ava , althought Grace may be more beautiful, I love the way Ava moves, plus I think in real life she would be a lot of fun. No wonder Frank Sinatra never got over her.

Grace Kelly was a real beauty, but Ava is off the charts. She is one of the sexiest movie stars (maybe the sexiest) of all time, IMO.

If we were speaking generally about the two actresses, this would be a tough decision for me. I might actually have to go with Grace, seeing as how I've been madly in love with her ever since I watched To Catch a Thief at the age of six. In this movie, however, it's Ava all the way. Her character is both sexy and likable, whereas Grace's is far too hysterical and in need of a good slapping.

Ava is pretty. Grace is breathtaking.

While Kelly was indeed a great beauty with her exquisite glacial, patrician looks and was *the* icy blonde type par excellence, she had a jaw as wide as a ship's prow with her square facial shape; a man jaw to be blunt. But that was more than offset by her impressively elegant, feminine features. Actually, such a "flaw" perhaps enhanced her...the whole being greater than the sum of its parts sort of thing. Maureen O'Hara and Olivia Wilde are also beauties with wide jawlines working well with gorgeous facial features, the strength and delicacy mesh wonderfully.

As for Gardner, she was not merely "pretty"; she was widely regarded as a legendary beauty...no need to trivialize her looks to prop up Kelly's. They were both great screen beauties...tho in real life by numerous accounts, Gardner lived up to her beauty whereas Kelly did not. Among such accounts, most notably Ari Onassis mistook her for being Cary Grant's pretty secretary; and Oleg Cassini told of how people were awestruck by Gene Tierney's beauty when they were out and about, whereas Grace didn't get such attention.

Most folks go with Ava and I can't blame them. Sultry, curvy, sexy - yikes! I suppose it's just my tendency to go for the innocent type but I just fell in love with Grace Kelly all over again in this movie. She would most certainly be my choice, in spite of her shallowness.

I'll put it to you this way: You pick the one you want most -- and I'll "happily" take whomever is left!

I recently rewatched this, and found Ava sexier than Grace.

However, the bottom line to me is that this movie has the two sexiest actresses ever to appear together on film.

More fun how? she seems an even bigger ice queen than Grace supposedly was. if you (immaturely) mean in bed, well, Grace was promiscuous, let's not forget.

Grace is easily more sexy! lookit that body!

Cool, calm, reserved women are just more attractive, although Ava from what I know wasn't much different. I think both are a bit overrated in the face, but I prefer Grace- love the square jawline and beautiful blonde hair.

I love Jesus AND Jesus-hating atheists and am 100% proud!

Ava ! She's just too sublime for words :) Grace was beautiful, but a bit frozen I think: plus her acting is not my cup of tea.

Ava, no doubt about it.

IMO Ava played the more appealing character, but Grace was the far sexier.
