shareShe was 44 and past her prime, but I wouldn't say she was ugly. And they didn't try to make her look glamorous in the movie, they actually tried to make her look like you would expect a missionary to look at that time which would have been plain at best.

shareIt might of been the most believable couple in the History of Hollywood. Bogart was 53 she was 44 meanwhile today we have 62 year old Tom Cruise and 60 year old Brad Pitt paired up with young women in their early 20's.
Any man that thinks Katharine Hepburn was ugly at 44 just might not like women. She was fit AF no wonder she lived to be 96 years old.
I never found her particularly attractive but beauty is subjective. She certainly wasn’t ugly, though.
