Lucy’s Black Wig

Watched this last night for the zillionth time. I am always bowled over at how great Lucy looks in that wig and outfit.

When Ethel didn’t recognize Lucy and exclaimed “those clothes”, I often wonder who Lucy borrowed them from.😳 Of all her friends, I don’t think there was ever one who dressed like that.

Ethel’s outfit that was “an ad for a trip around the world” was a scream.

The whole episode was filled with hilarious lines.

Fred commenting on Ethel in the wig: On you it looks like Life with Luigi.
Lucy talking about Ricky: He leered at me and called me honey in a tone I haven’t heard since the day before we got married.

Lucy: I wish I was dead!
Ethel: I wish you was dead too!

Such sharp writing and four people to carry it off so well.
