OP: Yes, and yes. She is abyssmally stupid, but she and her handlers realize it and use it to appeal to her stupid followers. As for "playing a role," it's interesting that you worded it that way, because she is essentially an actress who won an audition to be presented as a candidate.

Stupidity is another issue. All we know is that she is a product of total socialist leftist indoctrination by college professors (those that can't: teach). Now that she's out in the world, if she starts putting two and two together and still comes up with three, then we can add stupid as well.

Trump supporter or not she does say dumb things. Like describing the situation at the Mexican/American boarder as like the Holocaust where people were tortured to death. Like saying that all cities should be forced into having compost piles at every residence. Like saying she thinks all prisons should be gotten rid of because all criminals can be reformed by seeing a counselor. Like saying she wants to outlaw garbage disposals. Like saying she thinks cars should be replaced by a monorail system. All these things are dumb and anyone that thinks those things are dumb as far as I'm concerned.
