She will be the one to succeed Taylor Swift as the top pop star

Already has to great top hit albums under her belt. Both of her album debuted at #1 on Billboard and have sold and streamed incredibly well. Her debut album Sour recently became the top streamed album by any female (including Taylor) on Spotify. Her concerts are also selling out and she has a massive social media following to booth.

She is the future and will end up succeeding Taylor Swift as the next top pop star in the world.

Ariana made the mistake of jumping to a big movie production with those Wizard of Oz films and allowed it to derail/undermine her career. She also ruined her looks so you could say she sabotaged herself. Otherwise she would have been the one to beat Taylor.

That was before the cracks started to show with Taylor's latest album which was...underwhelming to put it nicely.

Now Taylor doesn't seems as unreachable as she did before.

olivia's concerts are selling out, but she's doing arena tour. She hasn't done stadiums yet

She'll get there eventually. She said in an interview that she doesn't want to miss a step in her career. She wants to start small & then gradually move up, instead of starting right at the top.

Ariana made the mistake of shifting her focus from music to movies with the upcoming Oz film. Her music output suffered as a result so now she lost that window to supplant Swift.

Olivia is taking that spot now.
