Look, I understand the need for #metoo to protect women (because they have always needed protecting more than men), but, unless an actor is gay, I can’t imagine he’d have a problem with a cute actress kissing him, even without consent.
This period of history will be forever mocked in history over two issues 1) paranoia and confusion over sexual consent. And 2) paranoia and confusion about gender aka biological sex.
Give it 10 years and people will be aghast that anyone even cared about this topic. As if.
will be fun to talk to current zoomers or whomever, after a decade.
they be like, " I was TOTALLY in and supporting all of that! Crazy times. ...then I finally got laid and everything changed."
And what about cultures like France or Italy where its not only accepted but expected that strangers kiss each other?
And what about languages like Spanish which have two genders for grammar and masculine and feminine words? Are they going to divide their language up into 50 genders?
Yeah there is no way in Hell people would react like that in just 10 years.
The issue is deeper than you make it seem, the ideology behind this nonsense has infiltrated every institution, especially education (see what sort of nonsense is going on in schools and universities now, from teaching Kindergarten kids about sex to gender studies in universities).
If anything, this will progressively (no pun intended) get worse.
The only thing that will stop the current trend (of becoming worse) is any sort of civil war, or something comparable very close to it, where the for now larger part of the population stands up and ends this all by force, be it literally or figuratively.
Edmund Burke once said:
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing."
And that is exactly how the rainbow cult got so strong, good men saying nothing, being cowards, scared to be canceled or pretending the issue isn't that bad.
But it's built on a house of cards. It has no basis in reality and can't sustain itself.
I'm not talking about actual rape and sexual harassment. I'm referring to Jim Carrey being condemned for kissing Alicia Silverstone or this dumb broad being attacked for kissing a man on stage. This is hysterical nonsense and unsustainable.
People kiss at awards shows. Always have. In France men kiss men on the cheek as a greeting.
As for the transgender obsession: They're only 0.3% of the population. It's a fad issue, doctors are just now being sued and may end up in prison for performing surgeries and mastectomies on mentally ill people.
In 10 years we will see a wholesale reaction against this sexual hysteria. In 50 years it will be looked back as a bizarre oddity of the 2020's.
Gay marriage is now being embraced by conservative Republicans as a way to domesticate gay males. Unfortunately, that farce is here to stay - Big Brother.
"It has no basis in reality and can't sustain itself."
And yet, instead of fading away as it should, it managed to root itself into everything and now even dictates how we speak (in some countries) and if we do not obey, we get canceled etc.
Does not sound like "cannot sustain itself" to me.
SURE...IT'S A WORD...IT IS NOT A CLEVER PUTDOWN THOUGH...IT'S THE FIRST SIGN OF A MORON...DON'T GET CUTE WITH MY NAME...YOU ARE A PIECE OF SHIT AND I HAVE NO DESIRE TO DEVELOP A REPORE WITH YOU. NOEMOJI
OH YES...BEING ADULT ENOUGH TO NOT INSULT OTHERS WITH OUTDATED AND OFFENSIVE WORDS MAKES ME ANOTHER OUTDATED AND OFFENSIVE WORD...ARE YOU AWARE OF HOW FUCKING DUMB YOU SOUND? NOEMOJI
When I was 11 years old me, my sibling and a friend were in a local shopping mall. Three girls who may have been around 13 snuck up behind us, squeezed our asses (two handed! proper full grabs) and said "hey sexy". They ran of giggling. We just looked at each other shell-shocked.
The fact I can vividly recall it all these years later shows how traumatizing it was for me. I'll probably never forget the incident.
I've read from a few actresses I know how they think intimacy coordinators are completely stupid.
preferring to WING IT for the good of the character's persona for the good of the movie.
this female "coordinator" is too stupid to even understand the double standards that women are allowed. she grabbed and kissed a guy. THAT is okay for women to do. it is NOT okay for men to grab a women and do that.
double standard. always was, always will be. and the only people that complain about it's existence is women. this female "coordinator" should know this already and just shut up about it.
I wouldn't want her kissing me. That's just wrong/messed up. I'm almost 20 years older than her. Also, I watched her grow up because of Stranger Things. Maybe if I didn't discover her until she turned 18, things would be a tad different. But no. I'm not going to be called a pedophile. Its bad enough that society has started this thing that if you are more more than 5 years older than your husband/boyfriend or wife/girlfriend, you are considered a pedophile. Doesn't matter if the two of you are in your 20's or 50+. If there is a 5+ year age gap, the older person in the relationship is considered a pedophile. There are some that are trying to escalate things even more by lowering the age gap to 3 years. Oh and I was already accused of being a pedophile between the ages of 18-21 since I REALLY liked Emma Watson back in the day. I was accused of being a pedophile since when I was 18-21 year range, Emma was underage. But I'm about a year and a half older than Emma. When I was a senior in high school, she would've been a sophomore or junior. And it was VERY common (at least at my high school) for senior year students to date sophomores and/or juniors. Maybe even freshmen. I know when I was a freshmen, all the senior year guys were going crazy about the freshmen girls. And ALL the popular girls in my grade were dating senior year guys. That's all they dated freshmen year. But anyway. I was already accused of being a pedophile back in the day with Emma Watson, although she and I are pretty much the same age. I'm not going through that again with Millie. So Millie can stay away from me and I wouldn't like if she kissed me. I don't care if she is 18/legal now either. I'm not going near her. Plus I watched her grow up. Even with her being 18, I still see that little girl from Season 1 of Strange Things. Now I get what parents talk about when they say, "no matter how old you get, I still see that little boy/girl" (depending on if it's a son or daughter they are talking about).
