Anyone Dislike This Guy?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKmys1LAJuA

Seen him argue with atheists and get destroyed (obviously) BUT seen him talk about many other things & he walks all over them with logic.

reply

I love him. He trashes every silly liberal argument. College kids (so foolishly) try to go up against him with their immature arguments and they get put in their place.

He has common sense and logic on his side.

reply

I wouldn't strictly say "common sense" because I would have no idea how to argue with him... simple folk like myself would be left shell shocked.

He comes across as a really nice dude as well & genuinely interested in teaching... I hated him at first over religion but now I love him.

He just lets the facts speak.

reply

You really have to come prepared to argue with Ben. He has a lot of facts in his arsenal and he is never intimidated!

reply

He is skilled in the arts of persuasion. Tough to beat. Helps being right.

reply

Shapiro’s strength in debating comes from his ability to make his opponent seem stupid. It works against morons and people who aren’t skilled speakers, but there’s a reason why you don’t see Shapiro go against people of equal calliber. Of course he’ll win against privileged 18 year olds, but I doubt he’d success against someone who’s education on the subject.

reply

EXACTLY.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!

reply

“People of equal caliber”

Lol! Like who? AOC? Pelosi? Don Lemon? Bill Maher?

The left can’t debate. They aren’t persuasive. They have to control the pulpit or they are destroyed with logic and facts. This is why they absolutely must control the classroom, newsroom, and courtroom.

They’ve been destroyed in every presidential debate for the last 20 years.

reply

Anita Sarkessian give him a good debate and that woman is a moron, and like Burningsun say already he choose debate mostly college kids for a reason even those you mention would make Shapiro sweat

Shapiro is a good speaker and smart guy I agreed with him on some points disagreed with others but like any political speaker (from the right and the left) the guy is full of bullshit

reply

I don't like him. He uses different logic for different subjects. That's not fair in arguments or debates.

reply

I love the guy. He tells it like it is and is not and should not be ashamed of it.

reply

He’s very good with words as well. And he’s well studied and prepared. I don’t always agree with him but I appreciate that he is respectful to the person who questions or debates him. He’s not rude to them because there’s no reason for being rude just because someone disagrees

reply

Very true.

reply

He's been VERY smug in the debates I watched, but to be fair I haven't watched many of his debates. I happened to be listening to him on January 6th and he said that antifa was responsible for the insurrection in the capitol so that didn't help his image to me.

reply

I like Ben. I don't agree with everything he says and don't listen to him regularly but he is articulate, smart, and backs up his arguments with facts and logic. He gets a lot of heat from the left but he calls out the right quite a bit too. I don't think he's all that nasty unless forced to stoop to the person he's arguing with's level.

He's also a bit of a Star Wars and comic book nerd which is endearing.

reply

He's annoying and self-righteous. Mind you, there are Leftwingers who are just as annoying and self-righteous as well.

I've watched his so-called debates with idiots and he easily out flanks them because they're, well, idiots.

I've also seen him debate and unable to counter much smarter people which makes him look rather mediocre.

Ben's just your typical social media politico with a fan base. He'll never rise to the heights of political service because he's too thin skinned.

reply

He only gets credit for being "smart" because he talks fast. But if you break apart alot of his arguments, they're actually ridiculous. People have short attention spans.

reply

This is so true. He talks fast and brings up a lot of "stats" that by the time the other person gets a chance to respond, so much of his "stats" have been lost in the shuffle that it's impossible to remember everything he said.

reply

Yeah, he and other political types like to throw around their Harvard debate credentials as if that is some measuring stick of actually being intelligent. It is odd because a lot of people who blindly follow and agree with him are the same types who look at higher education as a conduit for "Deep State" culture. LOL
