Just became the richest football club in the world
They were bought by a fund owned by the Saudi Arabia government. They are richer than Manchester City! Will it become a top team in the next 2-3 years?

shareAnother crappy english team being bought by Arabs.
Next step is get rid of the mediocre english players they have to buy a bunch of foreign ones and then pretend like they've been a "real club" all this time, not a fake plastic new rich one.
No. FFP put a stop to anyone outside the top 6 challenging.
They could be worth trillions but can still only spend what they generate.
Every Club bar 2 in the Premier League have billionaire owners. There are even billionaire owners in league .
What stops them ploughing money in is revenue streams. They do not generate enough money to spend and so can't go out and pay 100 million plus on players. For example the top 4 averagely earn around 600+ million dolars a year. Newcastle pre covid earned 179 million. So that is there revenue stream they can use. It doesn't matter how much the owner is worth.
The FFP is only for european competitions though, and is currently suspended for the economical crisis. Also,we all know that PSG and Man City often bypass the ffp in many shady ways, and Newcastle can do the same.
shareNone of that is true. FFP runs as long as football runs.
