Obesity is a health issue commercial during Oscars

Ironic that they aired a commercial during the Oscars saying obesity is a health issue just before Randolph, who desperately needs to read that message, won her Oscar.

Yes it is a health issue.

Yet the Left ignores that and keeps pushing “body positivity” and being proud of being obese when they should say, “Okay, maybe dropping 40 or 50 pounds may save your life?”

Randolph should be the poster child for “lose weight before it kills you.”

You know that’s what everyone was thinking looking at her.

Even the body positivity chanters.

I don't know if it's "the left" pushing body positivity. It's just a societal movement not tied to a political affiliation. And it's not even an issue. When ozempic becomes more affordable in a few years, weight problems will be gone.

Nobody wants to ever see him onscreen or naked. 🤢

I’m talking about women in entertainment (actresses, models, singers, etc) who make a living by their looks.

Nobody gives a crap about politicians.

And the Republican dough boy feels the same way I do about women.

Look at his current and past wives.

No, he's not. But to be fair, I don't give a crap what he looks like. It's just that I enjoyed being able to afford gasoline and groceries, and having a real effort made to control the border, when he was in office.

All good, my comment was in response to the insinuation that liberals are responsible for promoting obesity as an acceptable lifestyle choice. Seemed a bit rich to me, and another example of how people blame a political party for EVERYTHING they dislike about changing social norms. I’ve never noticed a correlation between political persuasion and body weight before.

People lose an average of about fourteen pounds a year on Ozempic. At that rate it will take her about a decade to get down to a healthier weight. Then she can work on quitting smoking.

LINK is a debit like card supplied by states given to poorer people that can only be used to buy food items in grocery stores. Not everyone on LINK is like that but quite a few are.

And people on that card aren’t parading across social media saying, “Love me because I’m body positive!”

The media and fat celebs are doing that.

I work as a bagger in a grocery store. There are people on Link that are overweight and come into my store and buy nothing but pizzas, hamburger, french fries, and other junkfood. They don't say they like being that way or that it is good. I don't get how me saying this is so unbelievable. It's not like I'm saying I am related to Arnold Schwarzenegger. I don't get how you think that only celebrities are obese.

Doh. Why the heck did I say most overweight? Sorry for putting it that way.

There used to be a time when the President emphasized physical fitness for kids in school. Now its like, Lets see how fat you can get and its not your fault. Do they even dare to make kids do pushups, situps, etc. when PE class starts?
