The trend these days isn’t equality, it’s retaliation against any white male because of the way the Hollywood system was run the past 100+ years.

It's only offensive if a white person plays outside their ethnic group. No one made a big deal when Jodie Turner Smith played a real historical white figure in Anne Boleyn. But if i made a movie and cast Maya Angelou as a white woman there would be a protest on my front lawn.
