And that is the crux of the problem she doesn't seem to get.
She is quoted in that article saying "USA women's team put in just as much work, we train just as hard".
So what. Where I live in England we have leagues that are completely amatuer in nature but they get a match day fee and have to train and exercise while doing a seperate full time job, so they are in her words putting in just as much work and train as hard. So should they be paid the same as the Premier League? Of course not, that is ridiculous.
I live in england. Football is the national sport. Their are teenagers that could beat the USA womans team in this country, but they don't get paid the same as the top earners, so why should she.

So what. They could win 100. If no one is willing to watch or sponsor it then they will not be paid. This woman does not understand simple finances. Their is a simialr arguement going on in England regarding the WSL which is the Womans Premier League. They are saying similar things. Not to be horrible but the only reason the Womans league even exists is because the mens teams pay for it, they do not turn a profit, similar to the USA WNBA.
Simple. Make more more for your sport and you will be paid more. share

I agree with her. The top players in the WNBA should also be paid the same as the top players in the NBA.

That's easy. Just have the NBA supplement the WNBA. The NBA makes tons more so they can afford to help pay the salaries of the WNBA players.

The NBA does supplement the WNBA by offsetting their losses and allowing them to make whatever money they do make through allowing their league to exist. Get the fuck outta here with your bullajitt
