His "acting" in UK "sitcom" Vicious...

Rheon appears in a Sitcom here in the UK called Vicious. It's about two aging homosexual actors and stars Sir Derick Jacobi and Sir Ian McKellen.

Rheon plays the young neighbour. The show is poor, but the worst part of it is Rheon's acting. I can't put my finger on (That's what she said) what it is. I'm sure he thinks he has to act like a mentalist as it's a sitcom. Some of the most abysmal acting I have ever seen.

Anyhow what do you think? If you are lucky enough to have never seen it look it up on YouTube.

Last week I watched 3 UK comedy series I never heard about (I'm from the Netherlands).
Detectorists (2014), Inside No. 9 (2014) and Vicious. While I absolutely loved Detectorists and Inside No 9, I found Vicious rather disappointing, though still mildly amusing. However I completely agree about Rheon being the worst part of the show. His acting is so bland, so cliché-ridden. It lacks any form of authenticity or believability. Granted all the characters are quite stereotypical, but the other actors/actresses at least manage to make something out of it. Besides that, I don't like his role in the story either. It makes some sense that the old spinster De la Tour is playing regularly visits the main couple. But what's the motive for a guy who's almost 50 years younger and most of the time seems to feel very uncomfortable during his visits, to drop by so very often?
