Can we drop the "Why didn't you do X while VP?" narrative?

Trump himself said that the vice president doesn't have any power. He's literally lying to us every time he uses this argument.

Historically, the vice president in terms of the election, does not have any impact. I mean, virtually no impact. You have two or three days where there’s a lot of commotion as to who, like you’re having it on the Democrat side, who it’s going to be, and then that dies down and it’s all about the presidential pick. Virtually, never has it mattered. Maybe Lyndon Johnson mattered for different reasons than what we’re talking about. Not for vote reasons, but for political reasons, other political reasons. But historically, the choice of a vice president makes no difference.

Democrats don’t use authoritarian terms like “czar.” This is a term of Russian Putin-loving vernacular.

Harris was tasked with studying the influx of migrants, but the reason is common sense. Trump’s decade-long rhetoric in conjunction with geopolitical events in South America paved the way for the States being seen as a land of HOPE once he was voted out. Refugees know that there is no “voting out” their dictators like Maduro.

Harris knows exactly what causes instability in security, crime, inflation and even personal health… it’s her opponent being given a platform on the world stage.

Biden said he'd taken her in on all the decisions. She liked to say she was "the last one in the room" on big decisions. So, since she was so central to the decision-making -- and given Biden's deteriorating condition, it's believable -- asking her why, if she has such great plans to dig us out of the hole her administration dug us into, she hasn't done so yet is a perfectly legitimate question.

Uh...the vice president doesn't control the economy and supply chain. This is silly and having "influence" towards the president is not nearly the same thing as actually having control. Kamala Harris doesn't have Biden's policies and this is clear if you remember the two during the 2020 primaries.

When she casts the tie-breaking vote on inflation-producing bills, she has a lot of control. How do we know that Harris doesn't have Biden's policies? She's on the record saying "Bidenomics is working."

I do remember the 2020 primaries. Harris didn't win a single primary because the policies she put forward were too extreme. Her voting record in the Senate was to the left of Bernie Sanders, who calls himself a Socialist. She's now running on "Joy!" with Gov. Jazz Hands, the friend of school shooters, and how Trump will destroy Democracy (more than a socialist?), and besides that, he's mean and will implement a plan he's said many times he wants nothing to do with (scare tactics and lies).

I particularly like how tariffs will destroy the economy, when I appear to be the only one who remembers he implemented tariffs the last time he was in, and got a booming economy in return. So I guess I should say she's running on joy, lies, and gaslighting.
