His pinched, elfin features are sort of cute, I suppose, and I can see why some young girls would like him, but he's utterly wrong for Finnick Odair. Seriously, this kid should be on the cover of Lisa Simpson's "Non-Threatening Boys" magazine.

Finnick is supposed to be bronzed, outdoorsy and impossibly handsome. Sam Claflin is the cutest boy in a middle school's chess club. Seriously. Can you imagine him stabbing someone with a trident? Finnick needs a ferocious edge, a killer instinct, that I just don't get from little British schoolboy Claflin.

I don't they were talking about Chris Hemsworth being in Snow White and the Huntsman. They were saying that Sam Claflin, who's playing Finnick Odair, played William in Snow White and the Huntsman. The reason they mentioned Miley Cyrus's boyfriend Liam Hemsworth was because Liam was chosen to play Gale in The Hunger Games by the casting directors. They think that Sam Claflin is appealing to teenagers, and thats why they chose him as Finnick Odair; they used Liam being cast as Gale as an example (since Liam is appealing to teens).
