Is she really country?

I see she’s gotten some nominations and wins at the CMA. But when I listen to her music, I don’t hear country. I hear straight pop

I haven't heard much of her. I first caught her in an episode of Scooby-Doo a few years back. Out of curiosity I decided to listen to some of her stuff. Didn't really sound country to me (mind you, I don't exactly listen to a lot of country; maybe that's what country sounds like these days).

Her album, "Same Trailer Different Park", is the most country album ever put out by a country music artist in the last 25 years. I have listened to it and felt like killing myself it was so country. "Same Trailer Different Park" captures the cold emptiness of being an ethnic celtic person in the USA.

I'd say her first two albums (Same Trailer Different Park) have some country elements.

But the albums after those 2 have not been country. Her album this year ("Deeper Well") and her Best-Album grammy winning album "Golden Hour" are straight pop
