Everything is taken care of, everything is secure, safety nets everywhere. Times of "survival" are long gone for the most of us (except for example in the US which limps behind a bit).

Poor Gina, she assumed those in her audience were way smarter than they actually are. She was talking about before Kristallnacht and the final solution. The Nazis didn't start shipping Jews to concentration camps on day 1. They had to build up to it, and part of it was a propaganda campaign designed to turn neighbors and friends of jews against them so they would support what happened years later.
