If these right wing mouthy fuckers ever bothered to learn to read, or absorb all points of view, they'd know that WW2 was not even nearly like her /their retarded version.
Because that means they can stay lazy and irresponsible.
The more rules, the more regulations, the more totalitarian your government is, the less decisions and responsibilities fall back on you. You literally don't have to think for yourself anymore.
I am not making this up. Many people of "younger generations" are scared shitless about responsibility, so they are willing to trade it in for their freedom.
Then there's the whole "bread and games" thing that is today more extreme than ever before.
And ultimately... we have it too good. We never had it so good in history, the regular western person does not have to worry about a thing. Everything is taken care of, everything is secure, safety nets everywhere. Times of "survival" are long gone for the most of us (except for example in the US which limps behind a bit).
Turns out, human beings become lazy, arbitrary and ill-motivated once the pressure of survival is gone...
So this chick I've never heard of says something and now you figure it's the result of millennials disengaging from responsibility.
Guess I'm glad she has exposed this exhaustive tumult of unrest, or the ennui of the zeitgeist, I don't know which.
Just ... wow
I agree. They are now wearing masks, waiting for Universal Basic Income to kick in, and have all their student debt forgiven. It's really not fair to any of us who worked all our lives!
While her post was actually not about Jews, you might wanna read up on the WWII.
A significant number of Jews killed outside of death camps were murdered by (freshly-conquered) Europeans. Poles and Ukrainians were especially enthusiastic. And some of the Baltic states even started on the way to getting Judenfrei achieving before being fully incorporated into the Third Reich.
Poor Gina, she assumed those in her audience were way smarter than they actually are. She was talking about before Kristallnacht and the final solution. The Nazis didn't start shipping Jews to concentration camps on day 1. They had to build up to it, and part of it was a propaganda campaign designed to turn neighbors and friends of jews against them so they would support what happened years later.
Picture Leslie Jones wearing Stauffenberg's uniform and eye patch, yelling all the time being one massive, overdone, excessive and insufferable "loud black woman stereotype".
She was attempting to say that you don't need to wear a Nazi uniform to to beat up the Jews.
So just because you don't see people in Nazi uniforms beating her up, don't pretend that the ridicule of her conspiracy theory beliefs and backlash that she received from people online isn't a prelude for people being put in gas chambers for the crime of being born a republican.
What a nice, warm, only a little little bit disgusting introduction to your manners. So you call yourself "left wing" and wonder why you are disliked?
The list of people I would honestly like to see suffer by this virus is getting longer every day...
