Bombs away

It's a joke remark to stir up publicity... A good sound bite...

Its always interesting when an actress elects to "go naked." Separates them out.

Julie Andrews did it -- years after "Mary Poppins" and "The Sound of Music." "SOB" was the movie.

I don't think Julia Roberts ever did it. She said "my fans prefer to see me in bed with my man the morning after, with my hair tousled."

Sharon Stone did it. A lot. And then she stopped. And so did her stardom.

The Fifty Shades gal did it...as a matter of the requirements of the role.

And I recall Anne Hathaway doing it -- at great length and with gusto -- in some movie with Jake Gyllenthal years ago(and briefly in Brokeback Mountain.)

J-Law has pointed out that she knows hacked nude photos of her got all over the world -- which empowered her to do the nudity in this role.

In any event, its surprisingly early for J-Law to show it off. But....it depends on the actress.

(Even now, the world has STILL not seen what Jennifer Love Hewitt has; I recall internet petitions to see.)

Empower = "Well they've all seen me naked, might as well..."

Lol, "empower"...

She might be joking, but she's not joking. That will definitely make people see the film. I guarantee there was a meeting held about that. About telling her to not be shy about mentioning that. Sharon Stone did the same thing with her movies. Always said as a joke.

Titilation is meant to be fun 😁

I think this goes against the more puritanical side of feminism... Although, it is commercialised, which some could raise issues about...

It'll be interesting to see if the movie is actually hot... In terms of mood and atmosphere... It's also great to see the female form return to the big screen in a commercial movie after it's notable abscence for a few years...

Whose idea was it to spell "titillation" with t... oh, never mind...

Just the kind of eloquent pitch I would expect from a middle school dropout.

Wow she is stupid

I'm sold.

She's in a rough spot. She's the it actress for her generation, and she has to sell those people on her more mature serious films, and that generation largely doesn't give a toss about movies like that. A statement like that is gonna get a lot more traction with the young masses than a thoughtful breakdown of the film and her motivations for taking the role.
