She has a cute face. A beautiful face is angular and defined which hers is not. It has nothing to do with her skin tone, there are very dark skinned models with striking faces. I don't understand the media hype about her looks, she is not beautiful and her body is boyish.

There's more than one kind of beautiful face! Soft faces can be beautiful as well as angular ones, delicate features can be beautiful and so can strong and striking ones, even rough weathered features can be gorgeous on the right person.

Nyong'o is beautiful, maybe not the most beautiful human ever, but lovely in a way that's uniquely hers.

I'm normally not that attracted to black women (mixed race women are very nice though) but Lupita is one of the few I do like. She's objectively beautiful.

I agree. "Cute" with a round face does not a great model make.

I never got the appeal.

Give me an East African model like Iman. Now Iman had a distinctive beauty.
