Only plausible explanation for her flaming out after her solid performance in Disturbia

No. Disturbia was the only commercial success where she was one of the leads. The question is why? Would think this would have been a springboard for her, but it wasn't. That beggars the question why.

She is not a good actress nor talented. There is already a better and actually talented version of her in Blake Lively, so why bother?
