The latest stats say that the user base has actually increased - and that's despite all of the bot exodus.
The bankruptcy talk is still around though. Twitter survived due to woke corps keep funneling money into that organization - and blackrock/vanguard buying stocks without limit.
Without those funds, twitter would have been gone a long time ago - so Elon will have to find an alternative way to make money. I wouldn't be surprised if, as a last resort, he'll start selling user data, as most other social media platforms do - or perhaps he's already doing that? Who knows....

I haven't heard that, but there are a lot of real scumbags that are back on. Some reporters have listed a few of them, Nazis and such.
I did not hear Twitter was in any financial trouble, because Elon paid over top dollar for it, and he is smart enough to evaluate the company if it was having problems. It was never a big money-maker, but it was important for world events, and if Musk screws that up - he is a worldwide criminal in my opinion.
