A lot of large corporations also pull their ads, boycotting twitter. Remember 26 NGOs calling it before Musk bought twitter.
I think all these are because Musk was promising real free speech and reducing censorship.

shareSeems to me that, unfortunately, everyone who wants to have any sort of media presence, (in my case of interest, sportswriters), absolutely need to have a twitter account. Even well meaning, moderate deliverers of benign truth have to be on twitter. They can't choose to ignore it like the rest of us, so we/re always being encouraged to join, even if it's just by some well-meaning person.
Sounds like Facebook and all the garbage that seems to go on over there.
He wasted $44 billion on a social media platform that is contributing to the downfall of our society. He needs to get back on track and use the money to continue developing electric vehicles, solar batteries and other products that will help alleviate the problems of climate change and fulfill the need for clean, renewable energy sources.
I'm hoping he shuts down that stupid site. TikTok is another one that needs to go. Maybe he should buy that one next.
Seriously, he seems to be unraveling and making irrational decisions, and I don't know if he's lost his mind or is on drugs, or has just let his massive overweening ego take the wheel.

I watched Musk in one of the video interviews, he said that US government subsidies I think about $3500 each to electric vehicles, that is from the democrat government, but that subsidy is not available to Tesla. So effectively the democrat government is subsidizing Musk's competitions.
I think that is the reason why Musk is suddenly partisan, with twitter Musk will gain media influence, democrat better drop that subsidy or give the same subside to Tesla as well, or else.
