Kristin Stewart pisses me off with her acting. no emotion...no effort...no nothing. i feel like that whole movies has no emotion. its sooo monotone and just, idk....but it still wins alll kinds of awards and has the biggest fanbase.

I don't dislike Kristen Stewart but I will admit that she sort of changed the character of Bella for me. She does not portray her as I thought Bella would be when I read the books, long before I knew there was going to be a movie. I feel like Jessica would've been more truthful to the book's character. Kristen Stewart always has to make everything seem so 'cool.' She's afraid of sounding cheesy in roles so she over compensates and makes everything seem less important by using a monotone voice and downplaying heightened emotions. Whereas Jessica probably would've said lines like, "I'm scared of losing you" with way more emotion because she's not so self conscious about coming across fake. Kristen's obsession with being a 'serious' actress actually back fires on her. Movies like Twilight are kind of cheesy and you have to be okay with that if you're going to take on such a role because if you're not, you change the whole meaning. Bella is described as a warm, motherly, simple girl. Kristen makes her out to be a cold, skittish, complexed girl. Anyway, I could go on forever but I think I've gotten my point across. Kristen does a great job at it, but she's just changed the character a lot. Movie Bella and Book Bella are two different people now.

ALSO, I think it's funny that people call Kristen the greatest actress of our generation. Jessica has acting chops that could blow Kristen out of the water. She's just been in the game for a shorter time so she hasn't been able to headline movies yet. I think it was a bad choice for her to join 90210. I actually love the show but she is way to good for it. I hope she doesn't get type cast as a sitcom actress. If she makes the right career decisions she will be an award winning actress some day.

I agree I was very disapointed when she joined 90210, but then I thought thats even more exposure just it limits her movies choices. Hopefully she will be able to balance both. Her nad jessica lowndes are meant to grace the silver screen.

reply

I agree that Jessica is much better than 90210 but she did get more exposure and people like me became fans because of it but after a while it will limit her because 90210's filming schedule will prevent her from doing more movies. She just needs to do some good ones during the hiatus to make up for it.

Glad to see people confirming what I've long thought. Jessica singlehandedly kept me watching "90210" last year when it was in the creative toilet. It has improved A LOT since then, but even so, she's still too good for it. Her destiny is the big screen.

i think both Jessica Stroup and Katie Cassidy have improved sooo much and are amazing actresses. i give them a few more years before they become the sh!t

kristen stewart at this point of her career is a much much better actress than jessica stroup will ever be. stewart's roles in speak and adventureland not only illustrate her ability to play as lead characters but also provide enticing and well-rounded performances that captivates the audience. stroup, on the other hand, has more attractive features as well as more sex appeal, but does not have the talent to act. case in point: stroup's roles concentrate on teen dramas while stewart has plenty of blockbuster box office hits on her resume.

Michelle Williams, an Oscar-nominated actress, came from a little teen drama by the name of "Dawson's Creek". Hilary Swank, a two-time Oscar-winning actress, had a stint on "Beverly Hills, 90210". So your argument about her concentrating on teen dramas because she's, in your opinion, untalented, is flawed. I'm not familiar with Kristen Stewart's work and I haven't seen either "Twilight" or "New Moon", so I can't speak on her.
