How to get an IMDB page and picture like a movie star
Just try to kill the former prez
shareI think IMDB tries to put anyone with a screen presence on their website. Why do you object to this?
shareThere’s a sense of prestige in getting a profile photo and page on a website meant for movies and movie stars. Should he get rewarded for an attempted assassination? What screen presence does this guy have

I think you are splitting hairs over the word movie stars. Everyone in the Shawshank redemption is not a star, but they are all actors in a movie. Which is supposed to be the purpose of IMDb.
It is a little weird to me that pages are given to people that appear in 1 commercial, or a viral video, or even YouTube videos. Those credits can never be as comprehensive as movies/shows on IMDb.
But I do agree he will be the subject of documentaries in the future, so he will need one eventually.
How do you know I am splitting hairs when you cannot even identify what being a movie star means to you? What is your "movie star" criteria?
What about the crew? They are listed also. You would deny a director credit in IMDB?
How many projects does a person need to appear in before you think they are worthy of an IMDB page? IMDB is a free service, you should enjoy it more and complain less.
I did identify it. When I said actors in a movie or show. Writers, directors producers other crew is fine too. IMDb is not just about the stars. If they add a movie or show, add everyone.
But it weird to add commercials viral videos, YouTube videos, when the sites goal isn’t to be a comprehensive database for those things, and it’s only adding prominent examples.
For example, this commercial is 2 years old. Did crooks have an IMDb page before the Assassination attempt? Or was he given one after the fact? The answer is after, because he is only person credited for that commercial.
Is different someone who puts his effort behind cameras to make a movie possible crews, secondary actors, directors, writers, they have all the right to be here, but people who have never been related to the movie industry in any capacity?
Forget about this guy, he has an "acting" credit on a commercial (even when I'm sure this dude dint have a profile before he tried to wack trump) what about Hitler, Jesus Christ, George Floyd?
This isn't a big deal for me, I'm not going to lose sleep over this, but I find it odd, and I think the site should be more specific with his criteria to create profiles

According to IMDb he is an actor known for that black rock commercial. That’s his only credit. Although I imagine there will be documentaries made about him in the future using archive footage.

My guess is that that is actually a different person that got mixed up in all this.
shareprestige?? there are tons of scrubs on IMDB. but any excuse to whine, right?
shareHe maybe dead but damn what a good looking kid. Brad Pitt hair, full lips, strong jaw, tan, sparkling eyes & south Cal tan.
shareNah, no need to make so much effort you just need to committee a crime, but a crime that become viral and that would make the trick
I don't understand the logic on making profile for people like Rittenhouse, Floyd, Hitler, Oswald, and so on, I'm not surprised if even Charles Manson has a profile on IMDb
Appearing on the news channel doesn't make you relate with the movie industry, neither means you are an artist in any capacity
In my opinion, only people who appeared on cinema, TV and documentary with acting roles or because they are somehow related to the industry should have profiles on IMDb
I get it, documentaries can be kinda of tricky, but there is a difference between a documentary about cinema or a true crime about some dude who dismembered 9 people
Didn't Hitler win an Oscar?
shareHe looks like he can infect a chess set with acne.
