On the other hand, white people never accepted a person with black ancestry as white. If you think about it, whites don't consider Hispanic whites to be white because they speak Spanish.

You don't even seem to understand that hispanic isn't a race it is an ethnic group. Being hispanic simply means your origins are from Mexico, Cuba, Puerto Rico, South America or Central America... Race is completely different and you can have someone who is dark as mahogany or light as snow be hispanic it just depends on country of origin. You can find people in Mexico that are blonde with blue eyes, if they came to the US they would be considered hispanic, do you think they would be considered to be Scandinavians simply because of the way they looked?
