Abortion is necessary if all else (birth control, morning after pill) has failed. As you admit, the pill is not 100% effective, and asking that women take the morning after pill every time they have sex would be unreasonable. Plenty of women have gotten pregnant even when using protection. Why should they be forced to carry an unwanted baby to term? If you admit that sometimes abortion is necessary, I will retract my accusation of you being right wing.
