MovieChat has an 'ignore' button for posters, so they should add a similar button for shows and actors. That way, if someone isn't interested in a particular movie or actor (or in this case, a non-actor), then they won't see them on their home screen.
But LanceDance is right, MovieChat makes their money by creating activity on this site. And political posters are a big part of that. So maybe they want to draw non-political posters into political discussions.
