Great actress - what should I see her in?

This is only my opinion as I know not everyone feels the same, but if you like musicals, I liked her in Across the Universe.

Once and Again (1999-2002)

My favourite Evan Rachel Wood performance was her role as Jessie Sammler in ' Once and Again '. She was outstanding in this family drama style TV show. I own the first two seasons on DVD and managed to get a poor quality bootleg DVD of the third and final season. So the problem is that it's hard to find. I have been hoping that a streaming service will pick it up or that the final season will one day be released on DVD.

Otherwise I quite liked her performance in ' Mildred Pierce ' (2011) a TV mini-series.

Check her out in the amusing road movie/romcom "Barefoot" (2014); also the downbeat "The Wrestler" (2008) and the pretty good "King of California" (2007).

Whatever Works. It's a great little comedy with a neat, punchy message.

I first saw her in Running with Scissors.

In terms of performances form her, some of the films aren't great though. You mention Pretty Persusasion which is still her best performance to date for me on film.

Kakillionaire (film might not be to everyone's tastes but she's good in it)
The Wrestler (she's very good in this, the film is great)
Allure (the film has major issues, but she delivers one of her best performances in this)
Once and Again (her characters lesbian romance with Mischa Barton is really sweet. But she's pretty great in this underrated show)

I really enjoyed Barefoot , also is the movie where she looks the prettiest in my opinion
