The problem isn't the question who to vote for in the next elections.
You cannot undo what has evolved over centuries in just one election.
Politics doesn't lead, but follows the voters wherever the voters are, that's where politics is going, no matter for what reason voters are in that spot.
Ever since the companies or the shareholders owning the media have become big enough to buy politicians, the media is running propaganda for politics for the rich, which is right wing politics because by definition right wing means in favor of the rich.
For over a century ever more voters fell for the propaganda, ever more voters voted against their own interests ever further to the right and the political parties followed, positioning themselves a bit further to the right every 4 years.
By now the US is at a point where Republicans have reached the top-right edge of the spectrum, there is no further right from there and Democrats have been moving aground in the top-right quadrant of the spectrum as well.
It should become obvious during Trumps second term that the top-right corner where Trump is located is a dead end from where there is no keep going further.

What to vote for to get out of there is the same way you got into there.
Voting ever further top-right moved politics ever further top-right, and the very same way voting ever further bottom-left would move politics ever further towards the bottom-left, it only will take several decades again to get to a point where politics will at least have gotten below the horizontal center of the spectrum and be once again politics for the people rather than for the richest of the rich.
The question there is, even ifffffffff American voters would start voting bottom-left (as of today that would be the Greens) right away, does the US have the time to wait it out until things get better, or will the infinite greed of the rich collapse the system like it did in 1929 before that?
I for one highly doubt Americans will in vast numbers start voting for the Greens, therefore the automatic solution that will come will be a new 1929, this time with a million times more value on stake, meaning it will become a 1929².

Why didn't Joe and Kamala address the issues that made americans vote for Trump.... crime and all the illigal migrants?
Had they deported the illegals and the criminals, Kamala would have won.
The democrats have only themselves to blame for the election loss....... who the hell wants to vote for someone that fills your country with the scum of the earth?
Wokeism, DEI, crime, migrants......the reason Trump won.
Democrats could have done something about it.... and they would have won.

It's a good cop bad cop game that these two parties are playing with the people, divide and conquer, the Romans knew 2000 years ago already how it works, only Americans have even 2000 years later still not understood it.
It's two parties both working in favor of the rich, setting up topics that do not effect the further enriching of the rich, but can split the population as close to 50/50 as possible, like abortions or queer people, running gigantic propaganda about these topics, splitting voters into two roughly equal groups and then playing these groups against each other, so that nobody notices that they are working hand in hand on their shared goal of enriching the already rich ever further.
Behind the scenes it doesn't even matter which of them is in government at which time, they alternate frequently anyway, meaning all of them get their share of the corruption and the rich get richer no matter who is in government.

Being in Europe won't make a difference, because once the American economy goes belly up like it did in 1929 it will be again a worldwide collapse of all economy.
Aside of that the game of two right wing authoritarian parties playing god cop bad cop with the people is the same in almost all of Europe.
Whether CDU and SPD in Germany, Toris and Labour in GB, Forza/Lega and 5-Star in Italy, it's the same everywhere, only in France in the last elections the left gained a substancial amount of the votes and there we can observe these days how Macron is fighting teeth and nails to get the voter percentage of the left into his coalition to reach a majority, but keep the left out of any decision making.
The only thing Europe does better, at least so far, is that they mostly keep the maximized authoritarians out of government.
