We don’t need inaugurations. Have a party at Mara Lago.

And while we’re cancelling that, we can ban representatives from going to Washington. They can do zoom meetings. The travel time they save will allow them to read the bills they vote on.

The money saved can go to helping disaster victims.

Close the capital completely and start a 6th military branch, or branch of the national guard for fighting fires and maintaining forest land. Keep of a fleet of 500 aerial fire bombers.

The time for celebrating Washington in any way is over. It’s a job. And you’re out once you’ve served 10 years in any capacity.

Time to eradicate the cancer that is the federal government.

I've never watched any inauguration, nor the corresponding ceremonies from other countries.
It's just a formality that for propaganda reasons gets inflated to a huge media event.
What counts isn't the exact moment when anyone becomes president, what counts is exclusively what they do afterwards.

I can't wait to see how many of his campaign promises Trump keeps, how his fans try to explain away the promises he doesn't keep and I'm not even trying to express what I think how many he won't keep, we'll see that soon enough and we can't change it anymore either way.

I agree Trump can be an idiot, but you think Kamala would have been any better with her screeching laugh? She was dumb enough to believe that price gouging was the primary factor responsible for high prices, when it was in reality a combination of things, including a bill Biden signed (American Rescue Plan).

Apparently Big Mike is staying home and won't be by Barry's side.

More people voted for Trump than for Harris for very smart reasons. I've never watched an inauguration, but I might this time.
