Did the left actually believe the claims about Trump that they made?

"Trump is a fascist!"
"Trump is a Nazi!"
"Trump is a dictator!"
"Trump is a thread to democracy!"
"Trump is Hitler!"
"Trump is Hitler, Stalin, and Mussolini!"

The claims about him were bonkers this election cycle, and if people in charge on the left really believed that, wouldn't you think that they would be doing something now like sending the military to Mar-a-Lago to stop him?

Or was it all for show - empty campaign rhetoric?

Well, Charlemagne today noticed that very thing. People stopped calling him such a big threat now that was elected!

Only the useful idiots actually believed that, meaning all those lunatic women and gay male Democrat voters who are screeching and hacking off their hair on social media the past few days.

Sadly yes, a bunch of these deranged young women and some men who have been posting on line do believe that their lives are in danger. Their freedoms are in danger. They were too upset to go to work.
Several actually demanded that Trump voters should identify themselves by wearing red MAGA hats or having their vote made public. His followers are racist, evil pieces of $%&& just like him.

The thing is, I'm pretty sure that the people at the top - the lawmakers, the pundits, the media - who were pushing these wild claims did so to scare people and get an emotional response. However, many regular people on the left - citizens, young people - honestly believed those claims. So now we're living in a nation in which a sizable chunk of the population actually believes that Trump is Hitler.

No wonder people are freaking out. It's because of mis- or disinformation peddled by the left.

I also wonder just how many of these young folks are either just stupid or the victims of a touchy feely public education system.

One of the funniest comments was made by a young man who said that he was leaving the USA and moving to….drumroll…Hawaii! And he was serious😊

They believe whatever the TV box tells them to believe. They actually believe all that stuff the paid propagandists, that are just actors paid to recite lines that the government gives them to read, they believe all of it, even the stuff that contradicts the other stuff.

That is why the NPC meme exists, and is hyper-accurate, and they hate it.

I've had fun looking at those memes. The cult-like shit is so bad the NPC's make the Borg from Star Trek look like amateurs.

The Democrats in power and on mainstream news media who push this kind of crap know it's lies. The useful idiots who make up their audience believe it.
