When Trump won in 2016 the House, Senate and the White House were controlled by the Republicans for two years. Why didn't Trump close and secure the southern border then? With billions of dollars in trade crossing the southern border each day how can the southern border even be closed? How will Trump close the southern border if he's reelected on day one?

Welcome to politics. Everyone is nuts and extreme with everything they say and do. Until people can step out and actually look at it from a neutral perspective, their biases make it borderline impossible for them to see the side they agree with as crazy, but they absolutely are. They are different sides of the exact same coin, but both are absolutely insane.
